Health care
Aside from the fact that Bush proposed it, why doesn't the left like the health care proposal? After all, it's nothing if not a shift to a more "progressive" tax.

The left is too busy dealing with trying to deal with the imminent deployment of troops to Iraq, as near as I can tell, to comment one way or the other on this health care proposal.
Heck, has the media even given the proposal a sidelong look?
It will be interesting to see what the Dems do with it once it *does* come up on their plate. I'd like to see them actually admit that Bush might have had a good idea.
Assuming his proposal is a good idea; I still haven't looked at anything about it myself, beyond what you linked to there.
Yours is the first post I've seen anywhere that's tried to put any attention on that proposal.
